Dala-Floda Värdshus

Directions: It is easy to find Dalarnas Lustgård, Dala-Floda, situated between Mockfjärd and Björbo, along road 71, fourty km from Borlänge. The inn is located in the eastern part of the Dala River, north of the highway, next to Flosjön.

Car from Stockholm to Dala-Floda (approximately 3.5 h). You may choose one out of two nice roads:
1) Via Enköping - Sala - Hedemora - Säter - Borlänge, road 70.
Turn left after 20 km in the new large roundabout in Djurås, on road 71 in the west Dalarna. It says Sälen on the signs. Then, it is only 20 km left - the trip goes along the west Dalälven. First, Mockfjärd and Dala-Floda one km later.
2) The alternative is to run Enköping, then road 66 - Fagersta - Ludvika - then road 247 north to Björbo - after the bridge over West Dalälven turn right towards Borlänge on road 71. 7.5 kilometers to Dala-Floda.
Along the highway you will se the sign ”Värdshuset” (inn). Follow the charming way towards the lake. Welcome!
